Warranty and Claims Procedure
Information about Spiderhand warranty coverage, product safety, and how we assess claims carefully and fairly.
Warranty
Quality, safety
and reliability.
At SPIDERHAND®, quality, safety and reliability are at the core of everything we do. We strive to deliver products that meet the high expectations of our users. Should you unexpectedly experience an issue with one of our products, we take this very seriously and will assess every claim carefully and fairly.
Safety First
Use PPE only
when safe.
Spiderhand welding gloves are Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and should only be used when they are in good condition.
If any damage, tears, loose stitching or other defects are noticed during use, the gloves should be taken out of service immediately. Damaged PPE may no longer provide the intended level of protection and must not continue to be used. In such cases, please contact your dealer or Spiderhand directly for further assessment.
Our Commitment to Quality
Carefully selected,
properly controlled.
Spiderhand gloves are manufactured from carefully selected animal hides and produced in accordance with the applicable European requirements for Personal Protective Equipment. Our products undergo quality control procedures to ensure a consistent level of quality.
Leather is, however, a natural material. As a result, minor variations in structure, fibre composition and appearance may occur. Despite our careful selection processes and quality controls, in exceptional cases a defect may only become apparent during use.
Where a verifiable material or manufacturing defect is identified, we will, of course, work towards an appropriate solution.
Warranty Coverage
Material or
manufacturing defects.
A warranty claim may be considered where there is a demonstrable defect in materials or workmanship that is inconsistent with the normal use of the product.
Normal wear and tear resulting from intensive or prolonged use is not covered by this warranty. Gloves that are visibly worn out or have reached the end of their normal service life are therefore not eligible for replacement.
Warranty Claim
Send us the
right information.
To enable us to assess your claim correctly, please send an email to info@spider-hand.com including the following information:
■ A clear photograph of both gloves.
■ A close-up photograph of the area that is damaged or not functioning as intended.
■ A photograph of the internal label showing the product type, size and traceability code.
■ A brief description of the issue encountered.
■ If possible, an indication of how long the gloves have been in use.
■ The name of the dealer or supplier from whom the gloves were purchased.
■ Where available, a copy of the purchase invoice or an indication of the purchase date.
The traceability code enables us to identify the origin of the product and to conduct any necessary quality investigations thoroughly and accurately.
We aim to review all claims within five working days of receipt. Should additional information be required, we will contact you accordingly.
Claim Assessment
Review before
final decision.
Spiderhand reserves the right to request the return of the product for further inspection before making a final decision regarding the claim.
Where a claim is deemed valid, Spiderhand will replace the affected product or offer another appropriate solution.
Liability
Product warranty
only.
The warranty applies solely to the product concerned. Spiderhand shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including any damage resulting from the continued use of a product showing visible signs of deterioration or defect.
Quality Feedback
Working together
to improve quality.
At Spiderhand, we stand behind the quality of our products. At the same time, we value the feedback of our users. Even where a product does not fall within the scope of our warranty conditions, we appreciate being informed of any potential quality concerns. Your experiences help us to continuously improve our products.
If you have any questions about a product or are unsure about its safety or suitability for continued use, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to assist.
